The EU funded project RECAP preterm is developing a platform with extensive data of national & European cohorts of babies born very preterm or with very low birth weight; the platform is based on DataSHIELD.
Attend the RECAP preterm digital Summer School and learn more about the development and use of the platform from your home. Through a mixture of online lectures and presentations, the E-Learning programme will give insights into:
- very preterm cohorts and collaborative research principles and techniques.
- new research on children and adults born very preterm based on pooled data
- how to implement a collaborative research protocol – including the ethical and legal requirements, procedures for harmonising data, the technological aspects of storing and sharing data, and analytic approaches and software.
