Does anyone know if the Obiba stack (Opal, Mica, Agate, etc.) and DataSHIELD server-side libraries are supported on any architecture other than AMD64? I am specifically trying to find out if ARM64 is supported.
It is my understanding that the main architecture target of Obiba stack is AMD64. I can’t find any docker images or system packages which have been created for ARM64. I don’t think there is a technical reason why a ARM64 port couldn’t be undertaken.
The Obiba software are Java based, then it “should” work on different system architectures. Regarding the docker images, they are designed in separate repos and are based on eclipse temurin images which have an arm64 flavour. Then if there is no arm64 docker images for Obiba, it is because no body asked for it.
