Planned DataSHIELD v6.0.1 release

We are planning a bug fix release of DataSHIELD, v6.0.1 It is our current plan for it to include:

  • Bug fix to ds.dataFrameSubset.
  • Enhancements of build and testing system.

Please let us know if there are other issues we should address in this release.

This will be followed by a new features release of DataSHIELD, v6.1.0

One modification that I plan to do for v6.0.1 is on the ds.dataFrameFill function in order to assign specific classes to the columns of missing values that are generated from this function based on the classes of the corresponding variables from the studies that those variables exist.

Updated plan for bug fix release of DataSHIELD, v6.0.1:

  • Bug fixes to “ds.dataFrameSubset”, “dataFrameSubsetDS1” and “dataFrameSubsetDS2”
  • Improvements to “ds.names” and “namesDS”.
  • Improvements to “ds.dataFrameFill” and “dataFrameFillDS”
  • Enhancements of build and testing system.
