CSV (R) Importer Missing on Opal Machine

Hi!

I was working with a colleague recently on importing data into DataSHIELD. On the Web Client for their (opal) machine there were two options for CSV files: CSV & CSV (R).

If I understand correct, CSV (R) is a ‘readr’ flavor for importing files. Whereas the CSV reader is Opal’s legacy reader that expects (among other things) a data dictionary.

When I go into my machine, this CSV (R) reader is absent.

How do I troubleshoot this?

A) Do I need to check my R version and update R?

B) Do I need to reinstall/expose readr to Rock?

C) Do I need to check my Opal version and update Opal?

Hi,

The CSV (R) importer is provided by the opal-datasource-readr plugin. Please verify that this plugin is installed (it is by default, when using the docker image) in the page Administration > Plugins.
