I have received the message from the CRAN “… package gamlss.dist is now scheduled for archival on 2026-09-27, and archiving this will necessitate also archiving its CRAN strong reverse dependencies.”

Is the methods “ds.gamlss” being used, does it still depend on “gamlss.dist”? How should we address “gamlss” being archived?

gamlss.dist (6.1-11) was released on 2026-09-10. I believe this means that gamlss.dist is no longer scheduled for archival.
