# dsBase and dsBaseClient 6.3.1-RC1 release

This is the first release candidate (RC1) for dsBase and dsBaseClient 6.3.1. The changes to this release differs from 6.3.0 in that:

- Fix to lexisDS2 argument checking
- Corrections to checking produced error messages
- Additional functional tests
- Addition of performance checking
- Tested with Opal 5.0.0
- Tested with Armadillo 4.X.Y
- Reconfiguration to support R 4.4
- Corrections to documentation
