# 2022 DataSHIELD Conference - Abstract submission now open

We are accepting abstract submissions for short talks relating to scientific advances that have been facilitated using DataSHIELD. In particular, we are looking for examples of how disseminated analysis has been used to facilitate other scientific progress; presentations may therefore relate to scientific advances in any field.
We also welcome proposals for demonstrations or discussion sessions on any topic related to DataSHIELD technical & methodological development, usecases or ethico-legal-social issues. In order to compile an agenda relevant for the DataSHIELD contributor community, the **abstract deadline is Monday 29 August 2022**.

Registrations will also be opening soon; in person attendance is limited to 60 persons, with the possibility for an unlimited number of others to attend virtually.

For the upcoming DataSHIELD Conference on 19-21st October, we are extending the **abstract deadline** until Monday 5th September, welcoming proposals for demonstrations or discussion sessions on any topic related to DataSHIELD technical & methodological development, usecases or ethico-legal-social issues.
